armoredVirginia legalizing “switchblades”
Illinois allowed Switchblades several years ago if you had a IL. CCW permit.
Unfortunately, IL. being more than capable of snatching defeat from the hands of victory, allow cities and counties to adopt there own regulations for switcblades.
It's now impossible to know where they are still legal and where they are not.

They're legal in Arizona also, and what I carry.
I can do the one handed thing with a conventional knife like a Buck or a Spyderco, but it's more convenient to have the knife do it for me.
If my family relocates to Arizona, I'm buying a Microtech one day one.

WarhorseBeen legal here in Michigan for a few years, no problems to report about it. Seems like most people don't even know that they are legal here.

Hollywood and liberals moved on to "assault weapons" as the boogieman in more modern times.
Yes, it started with "West Side Story", set in the 50's. Many politicians had a knee jerk reaction.

You'd be amazed how many Boomers carry a switchblade every day around where I live.
Stereotypes are hard to get around though.
