Exactly.

Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

I put a little clicky buckle on the helmet I wear on long trips. My around town helmet is the double ring setup.

Fun video, but the reality is that the straps are more likely to rip out of the helmet shell before the buckle breaks. While watching it I couldn't help but think back to watching the Malaysian GP several years ago went Marco Simoncelli was killed. The impact of the bike that hit him was so hard that his helmet flew off.

Yup ! Both my moto helmets have this simple buckle system. Some times manufactures have to come up with changes in systems for just " Hey we have something new and improved" when in reality they are not much of a improvement. Roll Eyes

At least with the old style rings you could lock your helmet to the bike, My bikes helmet lock has never been used because there is no way to lock my newer style helmet to the bikes lock.

A bit inconvienent when I have to carry the helmet with me wwhenever I run to the store.

I really liked the Schuberth system on a helmet I had for a while. Sort of like a locking ratchet system. Was very simple to use.
