A married couple, including the Army’s first openly transgender officer, have been indicted for allegedly trying to provide soldiers’ private medical records to the Russian government.

A federal grand jury in Baltimore indicted Jamie Lee Henry and his wife, Anna Gabrielian, on charges of conspiracy and wrongful disclosure of individually identifiable health information.

Prosecutors claim the couple met with an undercover FBI agent in August who was posing as a Russian diplomat and offered medical information from Fort Bragg, the home of the military’s elite Delta Force, according to The Washington Free Beacon.

Gabrielian, an anesthesiologist at Johns Hopkins University, told the undercover agent during an Aug. 17 meeting that “she was motivated by patriotism toward Russia to provide any assistance she could to Russia, even if it meant being fired or going to jail,” according to the indictment. Gabrielian gave the undercover agent medical information on a spouse of someone who works in the Office of Naval Intelligence, and “highlighted” a medical issue that “Russia could exploit.”

Henry, a doctor and major at Fort Bragg, gave the undercover agent information on five patients at the military facility, according to the indictment.

“My point of view is until the United States actually declares war against Russia, I’m able to help as much as I want,” Henry allegedly told the agent, according to an indictment obtained by Fox News. “At that point, I’ll have some ethical issues I’ll have to work through.”

Henry claimed to be the first known active-duty Army officer to come out as transgender, and the first to legally change their name while in service. The officer claimed during an interview with Buzzfeed that the transition provided a helpful perspective in the medical field.

“I find my trans experience has allowed me to relate to people, because all of us suffer, and I could relate to people’s suffering. I’m able to comfort people that feel isolated and lost and alone and broken,” Henry said.

Ironically, Henry complained during a different interview about the lack of privacy given to transgender people receiving medical care in the armed forces.

“I felt very vulnerable while being treated as a patient in the same hospital I worked as a physician. What made it worse was that, as a soldier, my medical records were not private, and when the question of mental illness came up, I felt stark naked,” Henry told Bright Young Things in 2015.

According to prosecutors, Henry told the undercover agent he offered to join the Russian military after the invasion of Ukraine, but was rejected due to lack of combat experience. Henry allegedly told the agent that he believed “the United States is using Ukrainians as a proxy for their own hatred toward Russia.”

Treason. Pure and simple.
Problem is IT will be a hero to the left because of the transgender angle. And the attempt to hurt the US military is the icing on their cake.
The good news is rope and gravity don't care.

Utterly shameless. This loon doesn't have a clue how much of a fucking clown he is.

I don't care what you cut off, split open, have jammed inside your body. I don't care how many hormones you take or what kind of clothing you wear. None of that stuff accomplishes the impossible, which is to change you from a man to a woman or vice versa. If you're born male, you're going to die male and any adult who doesn't believe this, is dangerously stupid.

Well yeah, lets hear it for diversity! Can't have only the cisgendered sell all of the secrets.

When the first cross dressing transvestite with a wooden leg struts down Abbey Road, that has to be celebrated as well?

I believe only if war has been declared against the country in-question, I may be wrong. A lot of talking head Dems were eager to have J6 protestors charged with treason and the issue of war declaration was brought up.

I don’t understand how openly mentally ill people are allowed to be in the Army like that.

Don’t forget, Bradley Manning was a he/she too.

It’s really sickening and frankly scary.

"Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."

No actual declaration of war is necessary, but as a practical matter the government doesn't ever go for this as a charge. The few that actually have been convicted for treason since 1789 weren't executed.

I think that's unfortunate.

Why? Why does this shit happen?

Because we frown upon public executions as a society. We turn our noses up at gore and violence.

Because we think we're better than that.

Then this shit happens.

Wtf did he think he was doing???

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual."
