Our Xbox One (hooked to a Samsung smart TV) keeps turning itself on. Xbox controller never turns on, just the console. I can use the TV remote to turn it off, but it's a PITA. Mine did this too. Could be several things.. Auto updates - turn this off bad power brick Wipe off the power button. This sounds really stupid but it worked for some. There was dust on the static power button causing it to activate. Don't weep for the stupid, or you will be crying all day | |||

My old Xbox One only did it a few times and I never figured out what was the cause. I now have a Xbox One X and it has never done it yet....knock on wood.
