I bought the Ford Shop Manual for my 2016 Expedition in .pdf format. I am using a brand new install of windows 10 so it defaults to opening in Microsoft Edge. Which just allows you to scroll up and down. I was wondering if there is a decent reader that has good searching abilities but also can give me a view like I am looking at a book. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. Adobe has the free Acrobat Reader you can download from them, and Firefox has a reader/plugin, same for Chrome. In Acrobat Reader you select, View, Page Layout then select Facing for a book style layout. https://get.adobe.com/reader/ | |||

I don't know of anything really good. I do know Foxit reader sucks, unless you like being constantly prodded to "upgrade" to a nonsense paid version of their shitty pdf reader... | |||

I settled on Edge because Adobe Reader keeps updating. If you don't like Edge, have you tried Kindle reader? Your post reminded me I need to add that as it's one of the programs I had before my Windows reset. If you use Evernotes, it has a pdf reader as part of the program. I am a fan of Bluebeam Vu. We use the full version (Bluebeam Revu) at work, and it is fantastic. Vu is the free reader, and it is great too, no ads, fast, and stable. | |||

One was a free pdf creator that has TOS that they own the data for anything converted.
