Although I'm a little skeptical, there is a chance she will get voted out in the next city election. She is very much hated around here. The city head tax was her idea and look how that went.

What really surprises me is that the Lenin statue in Fremont hasn't been moved to the front of Seattle City Hall, the City Council renamed "The Central Committee", and the mayor addressed as the "Premier of the Supreme Soviet".

She's still there..when's her term up? I know many Seattleites and they're pretty fed-up with all the hard-leftist shit and what's become of their city. Unfortunately, that town is also shiny white-hot light to the lefty moths in that part of the world. People think places like Berkeley or, Santa Cruz are left....check-out the PacNW.

Always interesting to hear people advocating about socialism by comparing them to the Scandinavian model. However most fail to understand the difference between a welfare state (Scandiniavian model= private ownership and capitalism is still the rule) and what most are screaming about, which is the full-blown Marxist-model.
