I signed up for informed delivery a few months ago and really like it. Every morning I get an email with photo of all the letter size mail to be delivered that day. I have had an occasional piece of mail, usually junk never show up,although some would make it a few days later.

Yesterday I was suppose to get 6 pieces of letter mail. I received zero and 3 catalogues.

I bet the carriers hate this informed delivery system because now we know when they screw up.

Our Informed Delivery seems to have a 1 day delay about 1/3rd of the time. It'll show something that's set to be delivered "today", but it'll actually show up tomorrow.

When I asked about this, they told me that only items that get electronically scanned at the PO are included in the informed delivery email. There's a link at the bottom of the email where you can go to your "Dashboard" for a more comprehensive view, which includes packages. And yes, sometimes there is a day delay. I've always attributed that to local office or carrier mis-sorting. And then there are the times my wife grabs all of the mail from the box, and it's only a day later she gets around to handing me mine. Smile

As is mine.

Filled out their bullshit application and they refused to open an account because they couldn’t “confirm” my identity. They’ve been spamming me though. Bastards.
