Former Buffalo region resident here, it is shameful how downstate politics have ruined such an otherwise beautiful place

Is it Ontario or Irondequoit Bay? I crossed the Bay many times loading Zerox for Mexico. Quite a site on 104.

Awesome pics. Love when storms roll in and give us great photo ops. Here are some of mine from last night.

When I lived in Minnesota I loved to watch the summer thunderstorms approaching from the SW. Angel white on top, black as hades at the base. The temperature could drop 20 °F in three minutes.

Sunsets and storms are the best!

Outside El Paso a few years back. iPhone photo so not the best quality, plus I didn't get time to set it up right.

chbibc,

Your pictures remind me of my youth spending lazy time on the shore of Lake Ontario (Sandy Pond, Selkirk, etc.). Fond remembrances.

We do boat out of Irondequoit Bay often, but these photos were in the Lake a few miles out from Sodus Bay. It's my favorite spot.

Drove by those places this weekend on our way to and from Henderson Bay. We enjoyed the weekend at my cousin's place just south of Sackets Harbor. I'll be posting photos of that momentarily.
