Seriously, how many time are you asked to pick something up and you get it wrong?

Could you pick up some laundry soap?

What kind?

Tide

Sure

Seems simple enough. And then you get to the store and there’s powdered, liquid, pods, with bleach, without bleach, scented, unscented, with fabric softener plus five different sizes of each.

Right?? All I ask is specificity. I’ll get anything you ask as long as you just tell me exactly what you want. ROFL

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I text a picture to my husband. Still invariably can’t find it, because it’s “weird” stuff..
But op, way to anticipate - bet you guys were both grinning ear to ear!

No word on the wife's reaction though. Was there any acknowledgement at all?

My wife laughed, but mostly because when I got the second package out I said “See honey, I get you. I’m right there with you!”

To irreverent’s text a picture suggestion: I did that with my wife last summer. She was at the WalMart and I asked her if she could pick me up a jug of motor oil while she was there. I sent a picture. I’m fairly sure looking at the motor oil aisle was for her what looking at the laundry detergent aisle is for me.
