To get the younger kids out and about, my neighborhood had an animal hunt, they asked all the houses to put stuffed animals in the windows so the little ones could go around and "hunt" them and see how many they could find.

The little kids seem to be enjoying it, gets them walking around and out of the house.

Folks around here are doing the same thing. Lots of teddy bears and other stuffed animals spied during our walks recently.

Around here, it looks a lot like it did when I was a kid, tons of kids playing outside, much more than the norm.

It’s the same around here. We have a teddy bear in our window as well. As long as the weather is nice, kids in our neighborhood have been out playing, walking, and riding bikes. Unfortunately, yesterday and today are pretty much wash outs with all of the rain. We did go to the store last night and incorporated as “bear hunt” along the way for any stuffed animals we could see.

I went out today to drop a letter in the mail and grab some chik fil a. When I got home I noticed a panda in an upstairs window. Apparently my wife has heard of this and must have put it up there. I'll have to ask her when she gets home from work. Smile
