I would actually pay with glee for whatever service necessary if this was still on. My goodness it was funny! You only have integrity once. - imprezaguy02

I've never seen the show...but I knew the punch line ahead of time, duh, I saw it coming, and it still cracked me the heck up. comedic timing wins every time. Damn, I'm still laughing. _______________________

I guess you’ve got to like that kind of comedy. Doesn’t do it for me. Loved “Seinfeld,” though.

I didn't watch "Curb your Enthusiasm." It doesn't do it for me. But I am a fan of Seinfeld, I have the whole series on DVD. But the video clip on the OP is funny and Seinfeld-esque. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Yep, after episode 1 I was a little skeptical but it was rock solid all the way through after that. Very good. My GF cannot watch it, makes her too uncomfortable "We've done four already, but now we're steady..."

What is astonishing to me about both Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm is the consistency of laugh-your-ass-off comedy. Week after week, both series managed to pull off superb shows right through the entire season. In all of Seinfeld, there are maybe one or two clunkers. In Enthusiasm, I can't think of one. That is some real comic genius at work there. ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."

I watched and loved Seinfeld, but Curb Your Enthusiasm takes it up several notches, both focusing on the minutiae of everyday life. I think Curb is a better series, amazing for a mostly improvised show. Personally, I have more "Larry David" moments in life than "Jerry Seinfeld" ones. And the clip above is just one of countless other scenes that will split my sides. I don't own Seinfeld on DVD, but I do with Curb Your Enthusiasm. Agreed with Oddball's assessment and add Curb is better because it wasn't held back by broadcast TV and the rules associated with it. ------------------------------------------------ 9/11/01 Never Forget "In valor there is hope" - Tacitus

Interesting timing, someone was just telling me about this episode just yesterday. (I've never seen the show) _____________________________________________________ Sliced bread, the greatest thing since the 1911.
