I listened to the second. Pretty good.
What are you looking at--the lyrics or the notes?

Thank you.

Yes, looking at the chord/lyric sheet. I know both songs pretty well, but haven't played them enough to trust my memory.

Thanks Carl, enjoyed a lot. I especially liked your tribute to your friend Bill before Son of a son of a sailor.
Really appreciate your willingness to share yourself and your musical talent.

Thanks brother.

Oh. For a minute there I thought you were saying Jimmy came back from the dead and recorded some new songs. I was prepared to blame it all on AI.

Even though I've written 70 some-odd songs at this point I still have the lyrics in front of me when I perform. I've learned my lesson!

Thanks for the nice words, guys.

When Jimmy wrote this, he wasn't just making up a title. His grandfather was a sailor and his father was a marine engineer.

I also recently read that his wife and former business manager/partner are in a huge legal battle over his assets. Such a shame. I'm sure he's pissed!

Robbie, I know several songs by heart, but as you said, it's better to have a crutch while performing. Why not?
