Get my pies outta the oven! |
The whole show has been running on fumes anyway for the past 2-3 years and with the death of George (Pops) Segal, I could see them ending it and I would imagine this would be it for them. The real Murray Goldberg did die of a heart attack (I think) at some point, so they kill him off on the show and beat a dead horse like The Office did or they cancel/not renew: Jeff Garlin is leaving ABC's The Goldbergs 'immediately' following an HR investigation into claims of inappropriate 'verbal and physical conduct' on set

He's played some OK characters, but after reading the linked article, it doesn't surprise me that he's a repugnant douchebag in real life.

Back, and to the left |
These days, I'm not so sure. When I read 'inappropriate 'verbal and physical conduct' today, I have to wonder who is defining that description. The guy could just be normal ya know? I notice this has only become a problem since George Segal died. Could it be that the snowflakes were 'putting up' with the old man until he died and after that then all bets were off? I'll withhold judgement. Not sure where to get any actual facts so it'll probably just lay here forever.
