House Republicans draft articles of impeachment against Deputy AG
Rosenstein should have been terminated long ago for incompetence. He is the reason the Mueller investigation is like a “wildfire.”
Written by Wayne Dupree · 18 hours ago
Today, all conservatives who support Pres. Trump should be happy about the news from House Republicans drafting impeachment orders for Rod Rosenstein.
Democrats and some Republicans have been trying to protect special counsel Robert Mueller and his quest to get blood from a turnip. What I mean by that is they have been searching for collusion between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign and have come up empty.
Mueller was hired by Rosenstein and given a broad spectrum to find anything that could prove the false accusation.
Rosenstein should have been terminated long ago for incompetence. He is the reason the Mueller investigation is like a “wildfire.” It goes wherever the wind blows, and at times it seems there is no management of this investigation. Mueller was allowed to “stack the deck” against the President by hiring his all-star team of Obama/Clinton Democrats who are big Democrat donors.

The document, which was obtained by The Washington Post, underscores the growing chasm between congressional Republican leaders, who have maintained for months that special counsel Robert S. Mueller III should be allowed to proceed, and rank-and-file GOP lawmakers who have repeatedly battled the Justice Department during the past year.
The draft articles, which one of its authors called a “last resort,” would be unlikely to garner significant support in Congress. But the document could serve as a provocative political weapon for conservatives in their standoff with Mueller and the Justice Department.
Members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus — led by Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), a Trump confidant — finalized the draft in recent days. It came after weeks of disputes with Rosenstein over the Justice Department’s response to congressional requests for documents about the decisions and behavior of federal law enforcement officials working on the Russia investigation and other federal probes, including the investigation into 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s email server.
Where were the guidelines to set up the investigation with an equal number of Democrats and Republicans with a couple of independents? Where were the restrictions and or limitations to where there can go? Is it strictly a Russian collusion investigation and nothing else. Where was a timeframe for completion?
I think this is a good move by those House Republicans. They were so wrapped up in protecting Mueller, Rosenstein is the one who is really calling the shots and he should be removed.
There are too many questions and not enough answers. How many of you think Rosenstein should be removed?

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein responded to reports that House lawmakers had drafted articles of impeachment against him, saying "the Department of Justice is not going to be extorted" at an event at the Newseum on Tuesday, adding "[t]hey can't even resist leaking their own drafts."

The context: The Washington Post reported on Monday night that the draft articles written by conservative allies of the president, led by House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows, were recently finalized. One author called them a "last resort." Rod Rosenstein oversees special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.

Waste of time.
Unlikely to go anywhere and if it did the Republicans will come off worse, like they do in most of these cases.
Special Prosecutors always seem to go way off the rails.
