It was one year ago that I was transferred to the in-patient physical rehab
As most know, last August I contracted a nearly fatal Clostridium difficile infection.

The members of SIGforum who came to my aid with prayers, vibrations, donations, and physical help clearing out my house know who you are.

Again, I give you my deepest and most heartfelt thanks.

My plan over the next three months is to exercise as hard as I did while I was in the physical rehab center.

Now, I just have to get off my ass and do it.

That's what people round here call the hard part. The planning is the easy part.

Best of luck to you D! You can do it.

Step by step walk the thousand mile road. A smart man chose that as his “CUT”.

Wishing you a quick and full recovery.

Wish you were closer brother. I would be happy to come to your house daily and tell you to get moving, and go along with you in the PT.

That almost killed my mother. I wish you continued success in your recovery.

That reminds me - I need to get more exercise too.

My brother contracted that from a nursing home. And had a hell of a time getting rid of it.
After the antibiotic treatment it is best to get the proper gut bacteria back in balance.
When the C-dif bacteria population outweighs the good bacteria is when the symptoms worsen
( C-dif excretes toxins that make you ill).
Diet is as important as exercise.
Keep at it. You will improve.

I didn't realize you were sick.
I would get some probiotics to get your gut back in balance. Taking a walk every day is a good way to loose weight. Find a place that is safe to walk.

If you are still drinking those Dr Pepper, get rid of them and get a water filter and/or make green tea which is good for your health.

I use the counter top filter(DOUBLE COUNTERTOP WATER FILTER - KDF/GAC PLUS CARBON BLOCK):
