I have always been an Indian Summer guy and I can tell you why. Preschool snack time! Most days were Indian Summer Apple Juice and Honey Maid Cinnamon Graham crackers. The Apple juice was served in tiny little Dixie cups with cartoon characters. Why I remember this for 37 odd years ago I have no clue but I have pretty much exclusively bought Indian Summer as an adult because of it. Trader Joe’s at one point had this pressed McIntosh Apple juice that was really good and I bought it for awhile and it went away. Well, last week Walmart was out of Indian Summer. They had Great Value (WalMart brand) Not From Concentrate on sale and I am pretty cheap so I checked and it’s not Chinese apples and even better apples from the United States only. Holy crap this stuff is absolutely delicious. I think I have a new favorite. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. I bought a couple bushels of Honey Crisps last fall and put them all through my steam juicer. Ended up with around five gallons of juice and a ton of applesauce.
