As a father of a 7 year old Son, I am shocked by this. I'm trying my best to prepare my Son for this world, but I admit I haven't done anything to prepare him to face a pistol in elementary school. I'm not even sure where to start.

We looked at schools when our oldest started kindergarten and they were expensive especially x3 kids. We figured how bad could the public school be for elementary school? We made it two months before switching him to a private school. All three of our kids went to private school through the 8th grade from that point forward.

Our youngest now attends the local public high school. My wife and I were discussing a news story about shots being fired at a park we used to take our kids to when our son walks in and casually says "Oh, that was Donte." They had a class together. The kid Donte tried to pistol whip is in different class with my son. Yeah, public school.

In Florida we have charter schools as well as private. My Son goes to a charter school and has to wear uniforms and shirts and ties on Monday. I think it is a step above a public school. Also, I live in the land of Matt Gaetz, so super red. That being said, you never know.

There it is! You are right of course. Other posters have assumed that the child was formed into a monster through hellish abuse at home. I think it is just as likely that he has simply been indoctrinated to reflect the hatred expressed daily in front of him by all of the adults in his life.

Yes, it should be obvious that this attitude and these comments from this little monster are a product of the environment in which he has been raised. When you have a child that young defying you to "call for backup" - that's a very specific thing, and when you have a child that young slinging 'fuck, bitch and whore' it's apparent what has happened.

And, no, barring analysis from qualified medical personnel, I don't think there's anything wrong with his brain. He's simply been raised by utter and complete trash who have no respect for authority or anyone outside their immediate group. This is simply the day-to-day existence of his parent(s).

Furthermore, the teaching assistant or whoever that is who is coddling this little demon, is also part of the problem. Liberal white woman. Then again, perhaps it's unfair of me to judge her so harshly in this instance. After all, who is mentally prepared for such a scenario- a child shooting their teacher? I suppose it's fair to say that she didn't know how to react. A tacit stance would have been best, as you see from the police officers, but they deal with outrageous behavior all the time, so they already know.

Feral children.
I spent almost 30 years driving around while working on Chicagos west side (WildWest). I saw and encountered MANY children that were totally out of control. 3 year olds in groups running the busy streets at night with no adults anywhere around them supervising.
Those kids parents had been feral and these feral kids will continue to reproduce more feral kids that turn into feral adults as we see daily on the news.
Unfortunately its a never ending cycle that won't be changed, the news media, politicians and libs will never address this problem, its too late for that now.

Regarding his punishment, I know my initial reaction, and the reaction of many men, would have been to give that little SOB the ass-whipping of his young life. Belt, switch, bare hand, whatever. He would have regretted, at least for that moment, to have gotten out of bed that day.

And I can just hear the old liberal refrain of "Don't do that! You'll teach him the wrong thing!"

Yes, my heavens, we wouldn't want him to react by doing something extreme, would we?

I taught school in an inner city minority district for 15 years. Under the no chile left behind policy, we had to keep these violent little bastards at the pre-penitentiary school during their trial.

We had middle school RAPISTS and MURDERERS in our midsts.
