Oh boy lots of rain lately and I fertilized lawn a week ago and it needed mowing. Forecast late last night said rain this evening, so great I thought.

So it looked overcast but I started mowing and about 10 minutes into it it started raining. I kept mowing a little while until it got heavier and then stopped and went inside. About 20 minutes later rain was mostly stopped so I went out again because I hate leaving lawn partially mowed. After a few minutes it starts raining again but this time I figured I would keep mowing as long as mow job looked pretty decent. Then it started raining a bit more, about a moderate rain and I said fuck it and kept going as I wanted to get it done unless it started raining really hard which it did not. So I got it finished and it looks pretty good as my Honda mower did a nice job in mulch mode even with wet grass. I see the lawn service guys mowing in the rain all the time so I thought I would give it a shot too. I was pretty wet by then but heck I was planning on taking a shower anyhow. I celebrated after that by making myself a root beer float. Rain, rain, and more rain in the forecast but I don't have to worry about the lawn for another 6 or so days. Smile

Are you in the tornado warning area, SE DeKalb County?

I'm near DeKalb now, and the rain went through here from about 11am, got real heavy a few minutes later. Typically for tornado weather, the sky is clearing now.

We have mowed the grounds in SD in the rain. The mowing deck is much easier to power wash and clean
