This thread is going to get locked PDQ. Read the first post in this thread and answer the question if you can. Beyond that, all this fantastic speculation is silly. For God's sake, some of you guys could fabricate scenarios to make anyone at all POTUS.

PotatJoe has the Covid and it's the perfect excuse to roll him over and make the laughing Hyena prez. She appoints her favorite commie as VP.

Does the Senate have to approve her choice or can Hilary or "Kali Freedom" Newsom just roll into the slot?

Is anyone really concerned or think that Kamala could be elected twice?

Pretty sure POTUS and VP cannot be from the same state. So that rules out any combination of Harris, Pelosi and Newsome, though it's not like the law really matters anymore.

25th Amendment, Section 2.

Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

So, they need to do this before the changing of the Congress in January. If, by chance the power structure changes with the anticipated 'Red Wave', this would give the Republican's more say on who the new VP would be.

Joe needs to belly flop now so the new VP can be installed while the Dems are still in control. If that happens and it takes less than 2 weeks to get done, it will be very obvious it was a set up.

The VP really has no power to veto or vote on bills, give executive orders or anything, so why would it matter who the VP is, as far as the power structure goes?

If Biden resigns or is removed Harris will become president. Stop with the nonsense where she gets paid off and Hil or Pelosi or Michele Obama or fucking Oprah become president. It's delusional.

The person Harris chooses or is told to choose as veep will get confirmed by congress. Again, no nonsense about a GOP congress withholding confirmation in some plot to impeach Harris and get their House Speaker elevated. It's not going to happen.

Harris has proven herself incompetent in a do nothing job. She didn't make the first primary as a presidential candidate when she was arguably the betting favorite. She won't rise to the occasion. Her veep pick will have to be somebody who can provide a steadying hand while not presenting a challenge to her. Think an old hand with some gravitas and institutional knowledge and relationships. Kinda like how Obama ended up with Biden.

If Kackles takes the oath of office on January 20, 2023, she’d be eligible to serve two years, plus two full terms, for a total of ten years.

Not saying that will happen, but it is a possibility.
