I set one up at my 84 year old step father's house. The TV remote volume controls the soundbar. About once or twice a year it will get powered off and when I go over there I will power it back on for him. There is often a delay in the sound vs the person speaking on screen when you wire the soundbar in. Go to a news channel, go into the settings and time the soundbar delay to the talking head newscaster on the screen. You should only have to do this on initial setup. I have the same set up but find that often the Apple TV doesn't turn on the Sonos. When that happens I turn off everything with the Apple remote and usually the second time I start the Apple TV turns on the Sonos. I've checked and rechecked all the connections according to ChatGPT and Googled for solutions and come up with nothing. Have you had this happen with your set up? Thanks!

I have a TCL Roku TV and bought a TCL Roku soundbar for it. Originally ran with the ARC HDMI cable but it seemed flaky even trying different HDMI cables specifically rated for ARC. I gave up and connected via optical cable and it works well and the Roku TV remote still controls the sound level as well. I love Roku remotes as they don't have 2,000 buttons on them, they only have about 6 that you really use. Just wish they made them bigger because they get lost way too easily.
