mark123Been trying to call her all day. She doesn't pick up the phone in her room. So I called the nurse to have mom call me and I forgot my phone doesn't ring after 7 so now I missed her calls.

ffemt44I’m glad your mother is in recovery.
I have been in EMS for 11 years and at least around here if I talked a patient out of transport when they felt the need to be seen at the emergency room and they were later admitted to the hospital I would be facing felony charges.
Even if the patient doesn’t want to go to the emergency room (many diabetics after stabilizing sugars) I have to explain to them the risks of staying home and get paperwork signed that they voluntarily were refusing transport against medical advice.
Something fishy with the first ambulance crew, possibly felonious depending on your state law.

H&K-GuyThoughts and prayers and all of that.
Many of us know the trauma of having someone we love in such difficult circumstances. Good on you for being there for her.
Yeah, that ambulance crew is not the one I would want anywhere around my mother. Just sayin'.

SigSACContact your county Emergency Health Services agency as a start - I'd recommend just asking the process/procedure about filing a report on suspicious activity by an ambulance company and see where they send you.
