IMO, the greatest sammich of them all. Here's one guy's opinion. What's yours?

IMO, he nailed it

I enjoy using my garden's maters on BLTs. Can't get much fresher or tastier than from the vine to the belly in 10 minutes.

BTW, I want to try his recipe for 2 minute mayo:

Is it sacrilegious to add avocado to a BLT? Place in DEN airport, Heidi’s, had a BLT w/avocado that was scrumdillicious.

Though I do like avocado, the acronym BLAT sounds a bit unappetizing.

"The designer of the gun had clearly not been instructed to beat about the bush. 'Make it evil,' he'd been told. 'Make it totally clear that this gun has a right end and a wrong end. Make it totally clear to anyone standing at the wrong end that things are going badly for them. If that means sticking all sort of spikes and prongs and blackened bits all over it then so be it. This is not a gun for hanging over the fireplace or sticking in the umbrella stand, it is a gun for going out and making people miserable with." -Douglas Adams

I never made it through to that point. Wow, is that guy annoying. 5 min in no cooking, I ain't got time for that. From the breif pic they showed it looked like dude was making a breakfast sandwich, not a BLT.

You can serve me any variety of BLT, as long has it has home grown tomato.

If you don't have (or like) tomatoes, apple slices are amazing instead.

Hedley Lamarr: Wait, wait, wait. I'm unarmed.
Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists.
Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.

My personal BLT "Victory Sammich" (ate the morning of Trumps Victory), is a BLT, minus Tomato, extra bacon, slice of Monterey-Jack cheese, spicey mustard, Jalapeños, and a fried egg.

When it's not breffast, I usually hold the egg.

The simplicity of a few quality ingredients make a BLT Great.

A BL? I don't see a lot to lettuce on bacon sandwiches.

My favorite sandwich. I don't get one very often because I don't keep lettuce and tomatoes in my fridge. (I don't use them up fast enough and they go bad.) There are a few cafés in town that make a good one, though.

(My mom's were to die for, but she's been gone since 2002.)
