My daughter is taking her sales team to Las Vegas and I suggested a full auto experience which they all think is a great idea.
Do any residents or former visitors have specific recommendations on which facility to use? (or not use)

Thanks

I left Vegas in 2004. There was a place on Boulder Highway...Discount Firearms and Ammo that offered full auto rentals.

Edit:

Still there...

The Fabulous Battlefeild/Henderson Defense is the best rental establishment I’ve been to. Good instruction, and safety is a priority. NIce folks too. I highly recommend them in Las Vegas.

Never been to the others, but this is a customer of mine. If they stop by to check it out they can also take their photo with one of my vault doors. Wink

I recommend Discount Firearms and Ammo on Highland Drive. Nice folks and plenty of Full Auto selection. There are other places but I haven’t tried their range. If they call ahead of time, they can schedule a pick up and drop off from/to their hotel.

The most famous one is The Gun Store, but it can be a good two hour wait to get on the range, and it is crazy expensive. They are so busy, they have a cab stand there. I'd find a lesser known one.

First time I went to Vegas maybe ~20 years ago I rolled right into The Gun Store, there slapped my money down to shoot a Mp5. No line. The guy went into the range bay with me gave me a quick instruction and secured the muzzle to the eye bolt in the bay by a tether to keep the muzzle down for safety reasons. I Dumped a mag of 9mm in a few seconds for $20 I think and it as done. Got my Girlfriend ( now wife) offered to buy her a mag but she had no interest. It wasn’t as cool as I thought it would be. But fun to shoot full auto once.

I doubt most rentals have one, though. (Those were NOT blanks. . . .)

I plan on going out to Pahrump (Front Sight) and doing a 2-Day Uzi full-auto class, at some point. Blowing through a magazine once isn't as attractive as 2 days of learning how to do controlled bursts while keeping it on target.
YMMV.

"The designer of the gun had clearly not been instructed to beat about the bush. 'Make it evil,' he'd been told. 'Make it totally clear that this gun has a right end and a wrong end. Make it totally clear to anyone standing at the wrong end that things are going badly for them. If that means sticking all sort of spikes and prongs and blackened bits all over it then so be it. This is not a gun for hanging over the fireplace or sticking in the umbrella stand, it is a gun for going out and making people miserable with." -Douglas Adams

The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all. -Mencken

The most famous and with the most selection to choose from is Battle Field Vegas.

They even have a free pick up service along the Las Vegas Strip in a Military Humvee and will drop you back off.

A must see place on my upcoming visit to Vegas.

Thanks for all the good information. Seems like there are a couple of standouts. I forwarded the suggestions and believe a reservation will be made this morning.

Any of these places are good if you want to meet and hang out with Japanese tourists. That seems to be who the ads on the back of every taxi are aimed at .
