Up for grabs is an my extra copy of Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective(2012)

What is it? It's a board/table top game.

Should I get this for my kids? No, it's not that type of game. I would say it's for age 13+ w/ an adult who are fans of Sherlock Holmes and the genre.

How many players? It's 1+ but if you want any chance of winning, I would say 2-3 plays best but play w/ as many as you want.

The game comes w/ 10 cases. There is some errata in two of them and two of the included newspapers that I have printed out and inserted in the appropriate cases. I believe these are a result of sloppy translation from the original game in French.

Requirements to enter:
1)Be a member here before today.
2)Have at least 221 posts. Well, lets make that 2.21 posts.
3)If you complete all 10 cases, since the game has no replay value, re karma it here or elsewhere. Maybe even leave a note w/ your scores. (Or just bury it).
4)You must watch at least part of this "SU&SD" review to get a better idea of whether this game might be something you might like.

5)Have an email in your profile.
6)Reading glasses if you are of age, as there is lots of reading. Big Grin

I'll check back in about a week.

Please add me, we do a lot of board gaming and raise money for the Children's Miracle Network by playing games.

Thanks for the Karma! Please add me to the list. It already sounded like something I'd enjoy, but that excellent video review clinched it. This is right up my alley.

I haven't thrown my name in for a karma in a long time, but I believe this is something that my wife and I would really enjoy. Both of us are big Sherlock fans.

Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.

Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard.

Congrats SIG 229R .

Email inbound.

For anyone else interested in the game willing to go retail, it's been reimplemented under the title, "Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective:The Thames Murders & Other Cases.
