Do you get your pets Christmas gifts?
My dogs got more gifts than I did, from my wife, sister, and parents no less...

Yes, the most spoiled pit bull in the world got even more toys this year. She is laying by the fire playing with them as we speak.

My stupid young Australian shepard puppy (or smart depending on your viewpoint) decided to get his own Christmas gift of food off the counter when we weren't looking!! 1/2 a prime rib roast disappeared! So much for leftovers!

Of course we do. The bird, the cat and both dogs get treats for Christmas. They're a big part of our family.

Of course! Our dogs are people too.

Our dog is just like a little kid, starts anticipating the big day when the tree goes up, closely examines all the wrapped gifts that begin to accumulate under the tree without disturbing them, and unwraps his own when Christmas morning comes. The unwrapping seems to be more fun than the actual gift itself in most cases. He also assists with gift distribution, not always guessing the giftee correctly, but rarely breaking the paper on something that isn't his. It is a joy to watch, and a source of great amusement.

As far as food treats go, he absolutely loves milk. A half cup or so is a regular Sunday morning treat, and he gets an extra serving when the presents are done.

Pete gets a new collar, a pack of rawhides and a little more affection from the kids than normal. He seems to like the deal.

Yes but they are put in her stocking. Our Golden has her own stocking and she get a couple of toys and a bag or two of treats. We make sure she is not left out Christmas mourning.

Yep, and she seemed to like it. Spent the whole night there...

He gets a bone, it keeps him out of the way while we unwrap.

the cats get a new catnip toy,

which means they get stoned and sleep for a but

but then again, they are cats, so they tend to sleep a lot

Yes, I even received a gift from each one of them! For the life of me, I still don't know how my cat Charlotte the Harlot knew I needed a wine cork wrapper cutter blade thingy!

I chose, Yes. They give me gifts for Christmas, so why shouldn't I give them something?

My wife gets them, as she gets the presents for everyone.

Balls with bells for the cats, and an annoying squeaky toy for the dog. (Already shredded.)

I voted "other". We do Christmas dinner with our best friends, we both have two dogs. We buy their dogs toys, they buy ours. Fun to watch the excitement as 4 dogs vie for a different toy.

Dinner was pretty interesting, four dogs and their cat begging at the table. The cat could care less about the dogs and vice versa.

We have cats. We left the boxes and wrapping paper out for them. They played with that stuff all day long and into the evening. Finally picked it all up this morning.
