What could go wrong?

How about driving the wrong way on an interstate bridge crossing the Mississippi river.

It’s another day, and yet another dangerous Indian truck driver has turned America’s highways into a war zone. This time, it was Harvinder Singh, a 36-year-old from Tracy, California, who was so drunk, and not just buzzed. This guy was three sheets to the wind, which would explain why he was driving on the wrong side of the road. The incident got so hairy that Arkansas State Police had to pull him from his cab at gunpoint.

Singh’s blood alcohol test clocked in at a whopping .15 percent, almost double the legal limit for a regular driver and nearly four times the limit for someone behind the wheel of an 80,000-pound semi.

Mr. Singh’s bond is set at over $6,000. The truly frightening part of this story is that he managed to travel 130 miles before police finally stopped his drunken joyride.

Witnesses say he swerved across lanes, scraped concrete barriers, and literally barreled the wrong way across the I-55 bridge before police finally forced him off the road. When officers ordered him out, he resisted and refused to cooperate, and that’s when the guns came out.

Mr. Singh works for a company called Raj Transport. According to public information, the business was started in 2014 by a man named Partap Singh, and his son, Pardeep Singh, joined the operation in 2020. The company now runs a fleet of 200 trucks… and you have to wonder how many unqualified foreign drivers are behind those wheels right now.

This latest incident in Arkansas comes on the heels of other horrifying accidents involving Indian truck drivers. Who can forget that nightmarish crash in Florida that killed three people and the deadly New Mexico wreck that left families shattered?

Reports indicate that Mr. Singh is not a US citizen and is based in California, a hotspot for unqualified, dangerous foreign drivers who seem to get commercial licenses handed out like candy.

And it’s not some random coincidence; this is a full-blown crisis. Unqualified, poorly vetted foreign drivers are flooding the US trucking industry, and Americans are the ones paying the price, often with their lives.

We recently covered the tragic story of a Washington volunteer firefighter and EMT who was killed by yet another Indian foreign truck driver careening all over the road.

We’re sad to report that it’s happened again. Another Indian commercial truck driver has been charged in a deadly crash that killed an innocent American. This crisis of foreign truck drivers on US roads looks like it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets any better.

This is the American man who was killed. Mr. Wilkerson was a volunteer firefighter and an EMT. Our hearts go out to his family. This was a totally preventable death.

The driver, Mr. Sarbjeet Parmar, has been charged with negligent homicide along with five other counts. He’s not only accused of killing one man but also of injuring an entire car full of people.

The driver who killed Mr. Wilkerson was also from California. The pattern here is undeniable.

Sadly, this isn’t just an Indian driver problem, and it’s nothing new. This story is from last March, and it happened in Austin, Texas. Five innocent people lost their lives thanks to a drunk foreign driver.

Solomun Weldekeal Araya, an 18-wheeler driver who was arrested and is facing intoxication charges after a North Austin crash that claimed five lives, including a four-year-old and an infant, was a contract driver for Amazon on a work visa from Ethiopia.

He was transporting items from an out-of-state warehouse. He is not a Texas resident, and his CDL was not issued by Texas.

The mainstream media is focusing on possible bad “work zone conditions” instead of the driver himself.

A few days ago, I promised I would drop a thread on all of our findings. We investigated the LLC he works for and found information that the MSM has either not investigated or is refusing to report on.

I'm questioning that news article. Harjinder Singh is the name of the truck driver who made an illegal U-turn on the Florida Turnpike, killing three people.

V-Tail, I was thinking the same thing and didn’t have time to research it. We know there’s a problem but reporting on it needs to be correct and if there are people with the same name, it should be addressed in the article.

Similar name, Harvinder Singh, but different age (38 not 28) and there are other stories (local outlet story here) about the Arkansas State Police arresting him for DWI, among other charges.

Someone in another story or pod cast said Harjinder Singh is the India equivalent to John Smith.

An article I saw some days ago pointed out that many of these men have very similar, if not the same, names.

If there are a bunch of these men who have gotten licenses under similar circumstances, I would strongly suspect that the word had been passed to a group of acquaintances and relatives: “Come here and get this job.”

If it is their actual name. I suspect that likely no vetting was done and the information was taken at face value. If I was hiding my identity, I’d be John Smith.

How dare you disparage people from another country just trying to make a living driving rigs on American roads!!!

Gavin will certainly respond to their being a human. And all do you should be ashamed.

Singh is a very common name of those who are Sikh. I was told this from a former co-worker formerly of india, that Sikhs historically comprised the cavalry in India, continuing on to be renowned warriors as horse mounted fighting became expensive, however over the last 100 years Sikhs have carved themselves a prominent position in commercial trucking both the US, Canada and back in India.

Having been driven over a large parts of India, I’ve personally witnessed big rigs driving on divided highways IN THE WRONG DIRECTION many times.

The rationale seems to be that the big rig drivers, if impeded by traffic on their side of the road, count on other drivers being intimidated by the rig size and get out of the way. If traffic is slow on their side of the road, tractor trailer drivers feel entitled to use your side of the road if it can speed up their travel time.

Seemingly, these Indian drivers in this country revert to the norms in their home country on occasion.

Suspend every single foreign national CDL issued in CA and assign a trooper to every weigh station or truck stop until we get them all off the road.

Had bond reduced to $7000.
Austin Texas, of course.
