These people have no reason to live:

Clue. Less. Freakin' automatons. These people are not alive.

I am not embearrased to say that the last two (4th of July bit) made an impact, and to hear that young lady recite the preamble to the constitution, brought me to near tears.

The others almost inspire hoplessness, but for the realization that there is alway a spark that may ignite this generation.

Whose idea was "one man, one vote?"

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Another glowing example of how great our public education system is. Stupid ass political mandates, worthless administrators, abysmal cirriculums, dumbed down approach, everyone passes regardless of merit... The list goes on.

The shakey state. Place is like a tabloid. They would have better answers were they asked about sun blocker, Morie Povich or who was the greatest of all the black Presidents. If I never go there again.

Well, it was South Mission Beach in San Diego.

There haven't been any signs of intelligent life down there in several generations.

Not just SoCal, of course. A few years ago, here in Illinois, I was talking to a high school student who claimed an interest in history, but was unable to tell me who won WWII, or even who fought it other than the US. I asked her if she had heard of Guadalcanal and she had not, and the guy sitting with us started crying. When he was just a couple years older than this girl, he was one of the Marines fighting there.

God dammit I knew Jessie Ventura was a signer of the Declaration of Independence. And he totally kicked ass at bunker hill since he was the only one who didn't have time to bleed. Putting his face on Mount Rushmore was so justified.

I know voting is a right. But this just cries for making some sort of test in order to vote.

This nation should weep when it sees these people living here.
