for those of us who listened to "old country" we saw most of the heroes die off starting about the time George Jones died and continuing from there.

The songs never sound the same once the musician has passed away.

Oh, the joys of listening to good-great rock music over the years. These recent passings bring back songs to mind that you perhaps have not heard for awhile.

No offense intended to you radioman, but George Jones was one that I could not listen to.
