I was at Publix looking through the eleventeen thousand birthday cards with another guy and we started talking about each others quandary. I told him about the forum and what I needed and he said just get two cards that add up to 95.
I’m sure he knew how stupid I felt by the look on my face

LOL. I too looked today for a 95 year birthday card. They had 80, 90, and 100. So I just bought a generic one and added my message.

I am sending her a book from an author she likes since she likes to read, a big word search book since she likes those, and some Dot’s Pretzels since she likes pretzels but has never had Dot’s. I will mail my card tomorrow on the way to go visit my mom.

Posted x 2. Apparently my wife loves these gestures, and when I read the post to her, she asked for Josie's name and address that she may send one too. Happy Birthday Josie..!

Our card and small gift is going out tomorrow. I am assuming assuming that whoever gets the mail will know not give them to her until her birthday or should we just mail to

Josie Castillo
663 Maria Elena
San Antonio, TX 78228
?

You can mail to either address. Her daughter will be getting them from either and she told me she plans to give them to her as they come so she has a “birthday month” where she is getting things daily. Not how I would do it, but it isn’t my mom. I asked that exact same question because I am sending three gifts in addition to my card.

My card will go in the mail tomorrow. From WV. My mom will be 94 in December so this is a wonderful opportunity to love on someone else’s mom. Thank you.

I want to say thank you so much to all who sent cards to my friend’s mother. She enjoyed this so very much receiving cards from all over the US.

This is a text and pictures I received from her daughter:

“Big thank you to SigForum from Josie for all the birthday cards and warm wishes.  She was very happy and enjoyed seeing all the different states that the cards came from.

And a big Thank you from me for everyone who took the time to send a card and make my mom’s 95th birthday a little more special.  She thoroughly enjoyed all the personal messages and she will go back and reread them several times.  Much love to all the SigForum members.”

Thank you so much everyone. We made a wonderful woman’s birthday so very special and made her so happy. She will never forget this, nor will I.
