Why as a society are we putting up with this. They may have just ruined a family's once in a life time to see the statue. Who is going to pay for them to come back ? the person climbing the statue. I don't think so. This kind of shit is getting out of hand. When they catch this person they need to send them to jail for a long time. They should make an example of them. Then maybe people will think before they do stupid shit like this again. If they are not US citizens they should send them back where they came from.
