Prayers Sent from a Lung Cancer Survivor. I am now 64 and been cancer free since 2010. stage 3B. Large but localized. I went thru concurrent chemo and radiation. Don't be surprised if they put him on an oral chemo drug for a couple of years. I was on Tarceva for two years as a maintenance drug to prevent return. The first two years are the worst for it returning. Sounds like they got it early and then surgery is the best option. Prayers Sent Roy Beware the man who only has one gun.
