This is more than politcs. It is about a guy with poor judgement and horrendous impulse control. If you look into Shannon's background there would be a history of violence, perhaps alcoholism.I agree that it is sickening.

I've never really understood this line of thinking.

First, if that's what they really want why not give it to them? I've always said that once you start something you should then lose your right to complain once you get what's coming. You slap somebody then get pounded, oh well. You break windows in a business in a city, and that business owner tracks you down and breaks all of the windows out of your house, oh well.

But more importantly, where does one draw the line? You take it, and take it, and take it without returning the favor simply because you "don't want to give them what they want"? At what point to preserve your way of life, your country, your property and the future generation do you step up and put a stop to it? Do you wait until it's so far gone that there's little hope of rebuilding, or do you do it when there's still something left to work with?

Hopefully someone will recognize him now that he’s out of jail and will see how tough he is when he’s not behind the wheel chasing an eighteen year old kid.
