Why doesn't Sig have a competition where you may only use their gun models. Like Glock does with the GSSF? Is there no interest in that? Or is it not lucrative for Sig to run something like that?

Indeed H&K guy. I also figured people would chime in as to their interest in such a thing. I guess I was either wrong or I asked it the wrong way.

"The designer of the gun had clearly not been instructed to beat about the bush. 'Make it evil,' he'd been told. 'Make it totally clear that this gun has a right end and a wrong end. Make it totally clear to anyone standing at the wrong end that things are going badly for them. If that means sticking all sort of spikes and prongs and blackened bits all over it then so be it. This is not a gun for hanging over the fireplace or sticking in the umbrella stand, it is a gun for going out and making people miserable with." -Douglas Adams

The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all. -Mencken

We would have to agree on classes. DA/SA or not, for example, where we lump all SAO and DAK in one of two separate groups.

Then, we would have to agree on courses. If we copied GSSF exactly we could compare times and scores between marques.

And we would have to agree on the odd scoring. I cannot compete and win on time. So, we would have to create winners down the roster.

Why not? As heard in Animal House "Let's do it!"
