I have a Nikon D3100 camera for which I have downloaded the software NX1 which I have downloaded pics. from my camera to but they are not showing up in my Photos on my computer. I can only see them when using the View NX1 app. I would like to move them to my regular photo section on my computer but can't seem to find a way to do it. Do I need to hook up my camera again and use the image capture app from my computer, or is there another way? SigP229R Harry Callahan "A man has got to know his limitations". Just insert the film (SD Card) into the Mac and then import the photos into Photos. If you use a separate application to import the pics, it will interfere with Photos. "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss"

I inserted the SD card first but no menu popped up for it. SigP229R Harry Callahan "A man has got to know his limitations". Teddy Roosevelt "Talk soft carry a big stick" I Cor10: 13 "1611KJV"

If the images are saved in a normal format, go to your C:/Users/ Your User Name/ [Name of folder that your D3100 camera software used to store the pics]. Otherwise, you would have to hook your camera again, and use it like a USB drive and copy the pictures over to your picture folder in your camera. I can't imagine that Nikon would use anything other than a standard format like .JPG files. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. Use your file explorer to view the contents of the SD card. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. On my iMac, I go to "Finder", open the House icon and look under "Pictures" for folder "Nikon transfer" for photo folders. Are you actually transferring your photos or just viewing them? Transfer is in the top tool bar of the Nikon NX window.

Insert your card. Open Finder and find your card location and select all pics in the card. drag the pics to the Photos app located in the bottom dock bar. Do not use a third party program. "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss"
