This website was great, you could type in a word and it would give you results from Sig Forum. Tried to use it today and got this message:

This domain is pending renewal or has expired. Please contact the domain provider with questions.

http://www.karmanator.com/sig_search.html

I hope this resource comes back soon.

Somebody who knows him please drop Chance a line and let him know his domain registration has expired.

ETA: I dropped him an email.

I think V_Tail, in another unrelated post, perhaps in the What's Your Deal section, noted that the Karmanator was down and suggested that, as this is such a valuable resource for us, we might consider helping to fund the domain registration and hosting. I'm not sure how to get this moving, but I'd be up for it.

In the meantime you can do exactly what the Karmanator did: go to Google and in the search bar type "site:website.com topic" (without quotes).

e.g. if you want to find everything about assclowns on the SIGforum, go to Google and search for: site:sigforum.com assclown

Might be a good idea to take up a collection and renew the domain name for ten years, or however long NetSol or whomever owns the name will allow. It can probably be renewed for at least five years. Usually costs about 35 bucks a year but the longer you renew for, the cheaper it gets, so a five year renewal might be 140 bucks or thereabouts. It's probably a good idea to take the financial burden of this off the man, considering how much members rely on that site he put together.

I forgot to send Arc a check. I'd be happy to contribute to this instead.

Just used it the other day to draw a Karma winner. I guess I got it in right before it expired. I would be happy to contribute to the renewal.

Don’t fear it goes down each time it needs to be renewed.
I am sure Chance will get to it as he always does but as expected he has far more important things to do.

I like Paras idea if Chance is good with it. I am down for throwing in some cash to renew it for a longer period.

I'll put $20 in to keep the Domain Name. I'll be watching this thread for more information.

I would be happy to contribute.
I have used it (once, so far) and would like it to continue to be available.

Google Domains are $12 per year and includes privacy, so that is a quality option for registration.

Depending on what applications are needed, I might be able to host at a low cost or for free.

I use the site pretty often to convert YouTube videos so that they can be embedded on SigForum. $20 in a heartbeat - just say ‘when’ and ‘how’.
