Is anyone besides me totally pissed off that the college championship playoffs and now the Championship game will only be aired on ESPN.

ESPN had college games on throughout the season and when the playoffs began they don't show them without a special subscription, which costs more that the usual cable. Just another slap in the face.

Until enough college presidents get up in arms about this nothing will change. Or, ESPN financially craters and the NCAA broadcast rights model changes.

Are you saying that you have ESPN on your cable and watched games during the season, but could no longer watch them once the playoffs started?

ESPN is a pretty basic cable channel-seems weird not to have ESPN unless all you have is something like the free local channels. There are many other ESPN channels, and they are not all included-varies by cable provider and package.

Hmmmm. Does not seem fair. I am not sure they sold all the tickets. Does not seem to be great interest in watching Alabama play Clemson again. I am able to watch ESPN sky cam and strangely enough the spanish Language version of some college games on my office computer which only has internet. All about the money. With the announcers these days sometimes I would rather listen to the play by play on the radio.

Yeah, I'm not seeing what he's saying.

No special sauce here, watched the playoff and bowl games via direct TV and the ESPN app.

I'm not quite sure what you're getting at. It's on normal ESPN.

I'm just not really caring much about another Clemson/Alabama matchup.

I'd like to join in, mainly because I graduated from Auburn, and that second-rate (academically) university in AL is playing.

But, I have a mildly vested interest in Clemson, as my son-in-law is a graduate. Because of this, my oldest daughter has been to the last two national championship games, and would certainly be there this year if they weren't expecting their first child (my first grandchild) within the next 10-14 days or so...

At the end of the 3rd quarter Bama is getting killed with 44-16 Clemson.

I'm thankful to be staying in a hotel with ESPN tonight . I don't have cable at home.
