Be sure to see the cathedral. I hear it’s great.

And here I thought you were asking about that city in Germany.

Maybe once a year I'll splash on some toilet water for a special occasion. When that happens, it's Ogallala Bay Rum. I have the same bottle I bought better than 25 years ago.

I don't normally wear cologne, but if I did, it would be Egoiste by Chanel.

I don't wear as much these days as I did in the past. My two favorites:

(1) Aramis Chromatics

(2) Cool Water Deep

These are quite pricey, as they are no longer sold in this Country.

Pen's is always the answer. They have so much variety, and their scents are amazing. Until you have put on some Pen's, you have never really worn cologne.

I'm rocking Opus 1870 as I type this!

I also have Juniper Sling in my cabinet, though I wear it, not my wife. It's easily my favorite cologne on the planet.

English Fern is a classic Pen's scent: verdant, fresh, and woody.

Sartorial is another of Pen's I wear. It's a bit leathery.

Czech and Speake No. 88 is another favorite of mine.

When I was in High School in the fifties my favorites (because I didn't have to buy them) were:

1. Newly Mown Hayfield. (seasonal availability)

2. Freshly Plowed Field. (ditto)

3. Mucked Out Hog Barn. (year round)

Number three really got the attention of the girls!

Back in the day I always wore Polo, Polo Safari (which I stole from my friend) and Pierre Cardin. I think the first cologne I ever wore was stetson

My favorite was Paul Sebastian.
My father wore it also.

I still wear Ralph Lauren Safari. Thing is, I don't think is produced any longer. My bottle is 15-20yrs old.

Here is some food for thought: have you tried actual perfume for women for yourself?

One time,I got into Eternity perfume for women not just the cologne. I had to quit because I developed a skin allergy to it but I loved the smell on it.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Usually just go with this soap https://dukecannon.com/products/bourbon-soap

Terre D'Hermes (I was introduced to it one Christmas Eve when the perfume counter lady at Neiman Marcus leaped from behind it and sprayed me..), or Royal Copenhagen. I never wear fragrances during the more temperate months, to avoid close encounters with bees, wasps, etc.
