Dog treats to befriend neighbor's dogs.
My back yard neighbor has 5 lapdogs. Used to bark nonstop at me.
Now I have a pocket full of mini milkbones. They just yap a little bit
till I come to the fence. They love me. Neighbor doesn't mind.

I gave some treats to my neighbors dog since he barks constantly.. Not very well socialized and wouldnt take it from my hand. But baby steps. I did ask him permission and told him what treats i had..grain free.

Pup-peroni. All of my dogs would do anything for one. Sort of like a doggie Slim Jim.

A little trick to try to prevent someone with less than good intentions from gaining her trust.
The trainer does that with all the dogs they train.

I've attempted to train my dogs to never accept food or treats from anyone but our family. My last Malinois took to it, the doberman before was good (until the treat was bread), my current dutchigator is just a weirdo, and my training has fell short.

I get that the OP is dealing with dogs on HIS property...but I'd be pissed if someone was feeding treats to my dogs. Then again, I keep my dogs on my own property.

Agree with this completely^^^^ except as you noted, the caveat was the pups are on HIS property. I had a mailman who used to drop treats over our fence every time the dogs were out. Mailbox is outside the fence. He taught them that if they charged the gate barking, they would get a reward. I couldn’t catch him in person, and finally had to contact the post office and request he quit feeding my dogs. Damage was already done though, and they charge everybody that walks by now. Real fun for the neighbors.. I can manage to call three of the dogs off relatively quickly, but the fourth one is a real brat - a tiny little girl with a big mouth.

Does your mailman come at the same time every day? For twenty years I could set my watch by my mailman. His name was Stan. My wife baked cookies for him. My Boxer loved him, and I think he actually liked her!

Nope. It’s completely random.. once upon a time yes, clockwork, but in the last few years, our neighborhood has been lucky if we even get mail every day, never mind a specific time. I shouldn’t have to lock my pets up, especially since they’re on my property in a fenced yard, and I did try to catch the postman to let him know I’d prefer that he didn’t do that, but I’m not chasing him down the street to hassle him, either.
And a new face pretty regularly these days, too.
I think it’s a girl; last summer a guy delivered.
Point is, not everyone wants their dogs to get treats, and allergies are a real thing, but whoever the owners of the animals in OP’s post are letting them roam, so that kind of removes any food prohibitions in my mind.
