link to interview Michael Bloomberg was interviewed on the long-running PBS show, Firing Line, on Thursday. I thought that in itself was amusing; after all the title of the show reeks of gun violence, so I watched it. Michael even used the phrase "shoot it down".

Other than climate change, gun control and never Trump (he hates Trump's "style"), I found myself agreeing with his (relatively) conservative opinions and positions. He opined that much of the centrist positions Democrats could claim to broaden their base have been co-opted by Trump, leaving the Dems with only the far left. Immigration control was one issue he said that Dems should support, but can't. He blasted Beto's gun confiscation and dismissed the rest of the candidates "Medicaid for All" rallying cries. He slammed higher education for brainwashing our youth. He didn't agree with Trump's environmental regulation rollbacks; said he didn't understand why Trump did that. His giving China a pass on pollution was curious; he probably does business there.

Having a curious mind, I sometimes like to hear views that are contrary to mine. All in all, the hour was not wasted.

He’s pragmatic about things, and a whole lot better alternative than any Dem currently in line. Still waiting for him to run as an Independent, but he’s wary of being called a “Moderate” ‘cause the Dem machine won’t have him.

I admit I don't know much about him, but I thought he was behind much of the gun law pushes in CO when Hickenlooper was in charge.

At least that's what I remember. Bloomberg was mentioned.

He was a pretty good mayor for New York, and New York benefited from his tenure. I won't debate my opinion of his stance on the 2A though.
