I see that today is “National Haiku Day”. In a detective story I read a good description of a haiku: “a short rotten poem”.

My contribution:

It’s income tax day
The IRS is broken
You must pay anyway

Edit: Correcting to proper haiku form, per kkina.

Why does one do it?
To struggle against the Lord,
Is foolish at best.

Uhm, tomodachi, haiku may be short and rotten, but they still must adhere to a specific pattern of syllables, namely 5-7-5. Most of you have it.

Haiku may be short.
They must be 5-7-5.
Most of you have it.
