Wait, what? |
It’s possible the previous owner too the darts to a grinder to sharpen them; I see what looks like an indication that the very tip was heated up the the way a high speed grinding wheel would cause. “Remember to get vaccinated or a vaccinated person might get sick from a virus they got vaccinated against because you’re not vaccinated.” - author unknown

Thanks Frank I hope I do too, I'll look again tomorrow. No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

Hmmmm..... Manually sharpened, so the prior owner cared. But then, thrown away on the side of the road with four used and one remaining..... Now, why might someone do that?

I seriously doubt the owner "thrown it away on the side of the road". More like it fell off his truck, car, or trailer. No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

That's a good thought I have one too. Somewhere.... No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

You're probably right, it could have accidentally fallen out. Though, that kind of thing I'd suspect would be kept like a handgun, in fairly well controlled locations. Might also have been thrown away on purpose, but you'd think they'd have discharged the darts before doing that. But, thinking about where you found it, and the care taken to sharpen the dart, the thought occurred that maybe it could have been used in anger, and the owner may have ditched it out the window while driving, so it couldn't be used as evidence.
