parabellumWhat regulations exist for a private seller shipping ammunition OUT of New York State?
The receiver is not prohibited from possessing ammunition and the state of residence allows residents to receive ammunition unrestricted.
I can find a hundred different references to NY residents receiving ammunition, but nothing about shipping it out of state.

mark60NY residents can ship and receive ammunition with no problem. UPS and labeled orm d is fine. I'll clarify the receiving part in that we can receive from a private party to our doors just not from a business.
No hazmat on loaded ammo or primed cases.

lymanif like the rest of the US,, it must be shipped via the UPS hub or Customer Service Center at the hub,, vs a UPS Store,
I don't think Fed Ex has that restriction, but not sure, since they suck in this area I rarely use them

Correct. Thanks for the post. I reached out and found out that I have to drive to a hub about 30 minutes away. Not a big deal. Thanks for the info!
