HVAC Question. Supply Return Temperature Difference?
Outdoor Heat Pump: Gibson JT3BA-030KA 2.5 Ton R-22
Indoor Air Handler: Kelvinator B3BM-030K-AB
"A" Coil: 266671A 030A

Cooling Cycle: It's my understanding that the supply air (ceiling vents) should be 15-20 degrees cooler than the return air (air filter)

Heat Cycle Question: What is an ideal range of temperature differential during the heat cycle? (if there is such a generalization)

Thanks !!!

Supply air is normally around 85-95 F.
Older 10 SEER systems will be on the higher end of the range.
