What can any of us say, it's always a sad day when one of the family crosses that bridge. At least you know he is no longer hurting and you gave him a great life.

I never know the right thing to say when a forum member loses a friend. But I always try to say what I feel, and what would be understood best.

You were good to Roscoe, and that is what matters the most. It is always heart rending to lose a companion, but sometimes it is above anything we can earthly do. We try to save them, but it doesn't work out. May you always have memories of Roascoe, I am sorry.

Make sure you let your pets know you love them each and every day, because we don’t get nearly enough days with them as it is. What I would do to have just one more day with Roscoe...at least I know he’s not feeling miserable anymore. I miss him so much.
