I do. Just had my 30-year work anniversary a couple of weeks ago. I'm a research scientist (polymers/materials/composites) at a university. The thing I like most is working on multiple projects and/or changing research focus to new areas every few years.

I retired after working 43 years for the Social Security Administration. Ended up as a District Manager. In 43 years I never spent a boring moment. Not one. That's the best part. There is of course the day to day work of assisting the public with applying for benefits which I found rewarding. I met some memorable people that I will never forget. I enjoyed the security aspect of the job. Proud to say I assisted the OIG and some other law enforcement agencies with getting several convicted of fraud and other issues. Assisted the USSS providing information regarding a mentally ill beneficiary with a criminal record who was "in love" with a President's daughter and who was known to travel out of state. No regrets about my career choice.

If the first two letters of both your last name and last work location are the same, then yes. Good to "see" you!

They are...and it is good to "see" you as well!
