I've met one of the owners at a local shooting range and she is a Looker and a Lawyer. She also shoots in USPSA competitions.

I drink and know things, and soon I shall add throw things to that list as well.

Looks fun. The kids and I had a set up in the back yard for throwing knives. I could stick well over 9 of 10, but every once in a while one would come bouncing right back with you generally in an off balance and neck exposed position it seemed to me. Before I'd started throwing them, I wouldn't have believed one could come all the way straight back, although I'd heard of folks having that occur with bb guns. I figured it would only take one to just nick the carotid artery and that would be all she wrote. I could reduce the bounce backs if I stopped and pulled the knives I'd stuck in there out as knives would often catch a stuck knife and be deflected.

Still, enjoyable pastime.
