While he was left of center in his personal life, he tried to be fair to both sides and, if I recall correctly, he stressed the importance of that in his remarks. Chuck Todd, like so many others including Chris Cuomo, Jim Acosta, Brian Stelter, et al, will soon find out that without the large platform they once enjoyed, nobody really much cares what they have to say. | |||

In a sea of bias, Todd stood out as particularly egregious. Believe it or not, decades ago the Sunday morning news opinion programs involved careful examinations of actual policy. It's crap television now and any Republicans still watching have to carefully monitor their blood pressure. | |||

Quick, name all three anchors of the flagship nightly newscasts. Nah, I can’t do it either. I think David Muir is one of them, and I only know his name because he made news himself as a narcissist during a tragedy. The hey day of network news is gone. At any time during the day we can all get the news. We don’t have to wait until 6 pm to know what’s happening. This is also why politically biased “news reporting“ has arisen. People don’t tune in for news, they now tune in to hear “red meat” slanted opinion.
