Lost power and internet and cable over 24 hours ago due to Irma taking down a large oak tree. Bell south said it could be Sunday before they can restore service. I hope the power company doesn't take that long!

I'm with ya! Lost power at 12:45am Monday morning, still waiting on restoration. Last night was cool enough and I had Makers Mark aplenty. Tonight it's much warmer and im drinking beer. The ice cold shower I took helped but I'm thinking I should have had Makers.
But I'm Alive, my friends and loved ones are good, so another of shitty sleep doesn't really matter.

This reminded me of an old ditty from my childhood that....

Her I sit
in deadly vapor
looking for
some toilet paper

Ah the smell
how it lingers
guess I'll have to use my fingers

Lets hope it doesn't come to that for you...

I can already hear it... I would have shot better at MOAC but missing those few nights of sleep left me exhausted...

Glad you are ok. If you need anything let me know, Mark

To all of you off the grid now. Hope your power is restored soon.

And as mentioned in another thread. Thank goodness for all the power guys and gals coming from all parts to help. God bless all of them and Lord, please keep them safe and their families as well.

Finally was able to get out of the driveway, so I was able to go into the office. No word on Power, but Cable and Internet won't be before Sunday.
