Anyone else notice a huge boost to the Verizon network. I ran the test below early in the morning when there is little traffic. Ran another just now and I'm around 500. Still not bad.

We've had 5G and 5G-UW for years.

is this Verizon home internet? 'Cause I could get into that, and leave Spectrum in the dust.

Oddly enough my service has been far worse the last 4 days, same as SIL who lives nearby. We’ve been on Verizon 5G for a year or so and it’s always been fine til the last four days Frown I’ve barely been able to use the internet.

I found out last year it can be a bad update that was pushed to your phone. My signal was all over the place. It improved after I did a factory reset.

I recently switched to T-Mobile from Verizon. Until the past week or so,T-Mobile was working great. The past week we were often without cell phone or internet service. After calling the nearest store, we were told they had been working on a tower.

I recently considered switching from Verizon to ATT due to some great deals on new iphones at Costco. My daughter has an ATT work phone. I borrowed it one night and drove around town doing speed tests on her ATT phone and mine. I usually got 300-400 mbps with VZW (5g only - my old plan doesn't include the 5g ultrawide), but never got above 30 mbps with ATT, who is supposed to be 5g all over here also.

Hmm maybe they’re doing some work on towers in my area then, wouldn’t think it’d take this long but see how today goes.

ETA Back to normal today woohoo.

I have Verizon Fios in my house and recently they sent out a deal offering additional unlimited wireless service for $30/month. Since I'd been with ATT and not super happy with coverage and a monthly bill that kept going up, I switched. I'm happy so far after about two weeks.
