Staring back from the abyss |
I seem to have lost my handwritten Italian sausage recipe and I need to make some today. A few years back (maybe 6-7?) I posted it here with the thread title resembling "I'll never buy Italian sausage again", or something like that. I've tried both Find and Advanced Search and have come up empty. Can anyone perhaps locate it or give me directions on how else to look? Thanks. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.

With the obvious out of the way, all I can think of is to go into your own profile and search your posts. I don't know how far back you can go, however. After that much time they may have been "pruned."

Nope, not it. Thanks though. And yeah, I tried going through my old posts as well. No joy. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.

It’s probably auto pruned. I seem to recall something named Wayback Machine they may be of help.

I've not used it myself but I heard of a way back machine site that takes a snapshot of every page that's ever been posted on the internet? "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Not every page, no. That would border on the impossible. The board is no longer auto-pruned. From 2017 on, everything stays unless manually deleted.

I've been fiddling around with the site, but not having much luck. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.

Not for the sausage itself, but that is a tasty recipe. Oh well. Back to the drawing board. I guess there's worse things to do on a rainy afternoon than experimenting with sausage recipes. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." I don't think that he does it any more, but in days gone by, Jeff Yarchin made some tasty sausage. I don't know whether he did Italian type. I did have a jar of his breakfast sausage (it was a karma) and it was some of the best that I have ever tasted. If he does not respond in this thread, you might email him to ask whether he has a recipe for Italian sausage. הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

In one of your posts you mentioned that you'd gotten a recipe from the same guy who gave you a SPAM recipe. Do you still know that person? flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth
